FNTCASE's black magnetic case gives Galaxy A17 5G and A16 5G owners attachment points for a magnetic wallet, car mount or ring holder. Charging still needs a cable. Samsung says neither phone supports wireless charging, and the case listing describes no charging receiver.
On September 30, 2026, Amazon listed this black configuration, ASIN B0DJQXVQGC, at $6.88 and No. 6 in Cell Phone Basic Cases. Those are dated price and rank observations. They do not establish monthly sales, stock availability or the final checkout price. PhoneGearDaily reviewed the listing and Samsung support guidance; we have not fitted or tested this case.
Start with the full phone model
The current FNTCASE listing names the 6.7-inch Galaxy A17 5G (2025) and Galaxy A16 5G (2024). Check the full model name in your phone settings, then match it to the selected Amazon option. Similar A-series names and screen sizes alone do not establish that buttons, cameras and ports line up.

What the magnetic ring can do
FNTCASE lists 38 N52 magnets and claims 2,400 gf of magnetic attraction. The page does not give us a comparable holding-force test across mounts, so we cannot turn that number into a prediction about a loaded wallet or a phone on a rough road.
A magnetic car mount is the clearest use for this case if you already own one. Check the mount maker's compatibility guidance and assess the actual case-and-mount combination while parked. The listing's MagSafe wording describes magnetic accessory attachment. Samsung's Galaxy A17 5G support page rules out wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare; its Galaxy A16 5G support page also rules out wireless charging. A magnetic charging puck or battery pack will therefore not charge either phone wirelessly through this case. A battery pack with a suitable USB-C output can be used by cable; check the pack's ports and instructions before buying one.
The shell and included screen protector
The seller specifies a translucent polycarbonate back, flexible TPU edges and one tempered-glass screen protector. The back has a matte finish. FNTCASE describes it as non-slip and resistant to stains, sweat and minor scratches, but we have no handling or wear results to confirm those claims.
The included glass may make the $6.88 bundle useful if you need both a case and a screen protector. It adds less value if you already prefer a particular privacy or matte protector. Check that the case lip does not lift an existing protector, and keep the packaging until you have confirmed fit and touch response.
The listing also advertises four corner airbags and 14-foot military-grade drop protection. We did not review a test report with enough detail to compare this claim against other cases. Avoid treating the height claim as a guarantee that your phone will survive a fall. When this bundle makes sense
Consider this FNTCASE if you have the listed A17 5G or A16 5G, want magnetic mounting, and need the bundled glass. Someone who mainly wants wireless charging should resolve that hardware requirement before buying this case. Buyers who need measured drop protection or verified magnet strength will need evidence beyond the seller's listing.
